Pictured above is the Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band, a musical group of street urchins from the late 1800's who were the first performers ever to be described as "jazzy." And yes, those are homemade cigar box guitars and other instruments they're playing.

Just confirmed: Shane Speal will be performing with his Snake Oil Band at New Orleans Fest. Originally scheduled as a solo act, Speal said his record label made the offer to bring the whole band down to give attendees the full force rock show.
