Cigar Box 7"x4"x1.5' any good for anything?

Hey people, I went a bit crazy on ebay buying cigar boxes the other weekend, the first two that arrived are vintage cuesta rey cigar boxes measuring 7"x4"x1.5', could I make a Ukulele out of one of these or are they just too small?
