Here is one I threw together on a dare from the missus. Acually sounds pretty good.

The neck is three yardsticks lamenated together. The body is a Valenties Day candy box.

Very cool. I love the yardstick idea. I made one from a candy box once, but it sounded like crap. Since it was made to be decorative, it didn't really matter. Your box appears to be sturdier than mine.
