  • Well it's sure more of a challenge here. Don't know if you have the same restrictions out west as we do here in Ontario where no tobacco products can be displayed, so you can't visually see the boxes and a lot of places now buy their cigars in plastic bags and refill one box or bin. Do a yellow pages search to see if there are any cigar stores in your area and if so, go down and ask if they have any boxes. I have scored boxes this way but expect to pay around $5 a piece. Junk/antique shops sometimes have them in stock but be careful that they aren't pressboard boxes and/or that the box is structurally sound. You can have problems with old boxes. Don't bother with Kajijji - their mandate prohibits advertising to sell or buy anything having to do with tobacco. You could put an ad in your classifieds. Ebay has the best selection and you can see what is on offer but you have two issues to deal with - shipping costs and whether they will ship outside of USA or not. It's a drag to see these beautiful wood boxes and not be able to access them. Finally, their is a forum on this site somewhere where members sell or swap some of their stuff. Check it out sometimes the good folks here are willing to sell a box or two. Good luck
  • I think you can get boxes from Cuban cigars in Canada, the're very hard to come by in the states, due to the trade embargo. I made my Johnny Cash 3 stringer from a Cuban Cohiba box I found at a garage sale, guy said he got it in Vancouver. Welcome to the nation, see ya around.
  • EBay? Check out cigar shops. They usually sell them cheaper than EBay. Welcome to the forum.
