  I am building a mandolin. It will be 6 string. 3 pairs of strings. That is just the way it's going to come out. Can anyone give me a clue to what kind of tune to give it. I was thinking G,D,E. If somebody has any ideas I'm all ears. Any of the CBG tunings like GDG, DAD, etc will not work.  Thanks
