I'm currently working on my first build and I am going to use granite for my nut and bridge, I've been doing tile installation for 40 yrs.so I have all the tools to cut, shape, and polish stone, I'll report back when I finish the build, it may be awhile as I'm getting way too fancy with this thing. LOL.
Could only be something good that happens. Tile, being ceramic, should give a bright trebly tonality to your git, I'm guessing. Should be easy to file string notches in it. can be cut to fit, but not as easily shaped or sanded down like wood, bone, or Corian, unless you have a Dremel with grinding / sharpening stones...yeah, it oughta work. Looking forward to the result.
