I just wired up my amp in a cigar box and when I turn it on, the led flashes slowly and no sound makes it through. If you turn the volume up, then you can hear a slight hiss from the speaker, but nothing from the instrument. Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions? Thanks

Pictures would help? Did you solder the components on the board or just solder board to the jacks? Kit? Shooting in the dark without visuals. Clear pics of the jack connections & rear of circuit board,etc.

You ever figure it out?
Three possibilities based on the led come to mind. Not enough power, reversed + -, or the amp is bad. The led should glow bright and continuously.
