apple mess up all the time.  hell they only opened the app store cos their SDK got out there and everyone was jailbreaking.  THing is, they manage to turn all screw ups into 'features'..

Just gives me nice warm feeling inside when something like this happens. There is aTV show here in the Uk called The Gadget Show. They were filming in Silicon Valley in front of all the famous names, such as Sony, Cisco etc. Apple would have none of it and the security people stopped them filming and sent them packing. All they were doing was a quick piece to Camera with Apple building as a backdrop. paranoia doesn't even come close!

But Apple says it's a bank holiday, which means it IS a bank holiday... it's your government that's wrong. Who you gonna believe? Your government, or that electronic gimcrack? Well, actually, you'd have to be a loony to believe either...

Take the day off. Go video yourself in front of a bank, holding a half eaten apple, watching all the people going in and out, doing business. Then vid your iPad showing it to be a bank holiday. Send it to the iPad calendar forum. Tell them thanks for telling you to have the day off. Then tell them you need a job, because you took a bank holiday because your technology said so, but your boss fired you. See what they say.
