  • Per your request. This is for the local cigar shop I wrote about earlier this year, just now had time to do it. The neck is laminated red oak With 3 coats of varnished, lightly sanded between coats and hand polished with Mothers car wax.  That is actually the bottom of the box, I peeled the inside label off and glued it on, because I thought it sounded better. Fret markers are cigar bands or cut-outs from other labels(same brand). Nut(not pictured) is aluminum angle, cut down and polished. Walnut bridge and bone insert set at 25.5" scale. I installed a reverb spring which I don't know at this time if it stays or not. Piezo disk feeds the 4 band equalizer. The tuners and Southbound strings are from CB GITTY. The string retainer is made from a heavy-duty picture hook.  After the frets are filed, sanded and polished, the box will get another coat of varnish on the outside, blk paint inside. After final assembly, the hand made leather strap will be added. I more than likely won't have time for a video, the Cigar store is hosting a "PERDOMO" event and the owner wants time to learn how to play! Maybe after Christmas, I can make one. As my good friend Richard always says" Thank you for your support!"
