Hi!

So, here's the thing:  I got into CBGs and junk-based stringed instruments (cookie tins, metal boxes, scrap wood, etc.) and I LOVE it!  I've made a number of guits, and a few are really nice.

I've also made percussion instruments:  tambourines out of cookie tins, shakers out of pill bottles, claves out of hardwood dowels, and xylophones made from wooden dowels and wrenches.  FUN!!

I have more stringed and percussion instruments in the planning stage.  I'll get to them when I'm able to walk after ankle surgery (long story).

My dilemma:  I can't play the stringed instruments and percussion instruments at the same time (of course), and I love them both!  What do I do?

  • Search one man bands.

  • Looper pedal, sample percussion instruments & then play along with stringed instrument. Search Amoon looper on eBay, it’s the cheapest. Cheers
