Howdy Y'all,

Not sure if this is right forum for this.  I wanted a smaller slide for my CBG so I made one from a .50 cal shell casing.  It is marked SL 42, which means it is from St. Louis Ordinance, in St. Louis MO, from 1942.  A nice WWII era piece of brass.  Shined up nicely!  Looks good and plays well.

Cheers,

Troy

I saw a street performer in New Orleans use one of those before, kool sound

That's cool!  I had no plan to make it.  I was looking for a "lost" slide, saw this on my bookshelf.  Then a half hour later it was done.  :)

See?  Now that is a great idea!   Hmmmm, I see a new build in my future.  Thanx, Dennis.

Nice!  I like that a lot.  Nicely done.  Thanx for the pic.

This is very cool!
