Is there anybody that can give me tips on how to use a 60s era small tube radio as an amp i need to add a jack but cant figure out where to connect it its a westinghouse h200t5 if that helps Thanks DD

You radio has a tuner section and a ampifier section conected between is your volume control. The jack must be wired between the tuner section and the volume control not on the amp side and volume control this is not a project for beginners alot of hazzards here if you do not know what your doing.
If the radio lacks a phono input you're pretty much out of luck. Even that input is the wrong input impedence for a guitar. I'm guessing it's point to point wiring, difficult to seperate the preamp section from the power amp side. Might even require an isolation transformer. Sell it to a collector and build a Ruby.
