The 9th Annual Pennsylvania Cigar Box Guitar Fest returns to York PA on August 24th and 25th. It is sponsored by C. B. Gitty Crafter Supply. Here's everything you need to know:
Friday, August 24th - TWO EVENTS - TWO LOCATIONS: Pre-Fest Jam + Shane Speal & the Snakes concert
- Event 1: Cigar box guitar jam session at the York Emporium Bookstore, 7-10pm. Location: 343 W. Market St., York PA 17401. Admission is $10 & includes beer and pizza (unless you bring an instrument and join the jam, then it is free). And you get beer & pizza. And a good time with like-minded folks. Join us! 7pm to ? ...Sign up starts at 6:30!
- Event 2: Shane Speal & the Snakes at Crystal Ball Brewery, 7-10pm Location: 21 S. Beaver St., York PA 17401. Free admission. Shane & the Snakes tear it up with an exclusive New Orleans style acoustic cigar box guitar concert. (Note: This will be their only performance on the festival weekend.)
Saturday, August 25th - THE MAIN EVENT: The PA Cigar Box Guitar Fest, featuring 13 acts on two stages.
Location: On the grounds of the York Emporium Bookstore. 343 W. Market St, York PA 17401
