I don't have a router so a post by Skeesix

sent me to Ebay for a Wagner Safe-T-Planer.  $20 I can justify.  I just turned a mediocre sounding box with a .305 thick top into a good sounding box with a .150 top with 10 minutes of work.  I practiced of scrap to get the hang of starting in the middle of a workpiece, since it is a rimmed lid  Worked fine as frog hair.
