Banjo Build Diary: Day 2 [Sanding & Finishing]
I decided to build one of the American Banjo Kits from Carver Banjos. This is the second video in a series that will cover all the steps involved in building the banjo. During this episode, I sand the 3 wood parts and coat them in Danish Oil.

The wood really looks nice with the oil. Danish Oil is my go to finish! Easy to do and looks great; keeps the focus on the beauty of the wood!

The lone star in the headstock, cool for Texas. Yeah, that stain really brought out the beauty of the wood. Good vid. Poorness!

Looking good! Great finish with just one coat of Danish. You put the effort in of going down grades of sandpaper and you reap the rewards with a great finish.
I have to admit I would have also thinned out the neck..... sod the warranty ;)
