Looks/sounds like a good buy.  I have one of the first Taka five string banjos and an Ovation guitar, both made in Japan that I am happy with.  Haven’t played banjo in 25  years so I’d have to relearn chords and rolls.

Kool, I remember them, Aquarius made everything from guitars to tambourines & a bunch of little stuff in between? Actually a decent entry level brand, a lot less setup mistakes than Teisco brands though?
