Littley Bow or Lil’ Bow is what I’m calling it?

Yea, as busy as I get, I gotta keep it simple so they don’t sit around unfinished for too long. I like to finish what I start in a single session. I’m a big fan of keep it simple stupid. Cheers

Nicely done.  Some of my simplest builds are my favorites.

I have a 18 inch scale length Shane Speal “Chugger” two string. It was the first CBG I got years ago. I still have it. It’s inspired me ever since.

Not bad Brian. 5 min. Well spent!

This 18.5” scale was an experiment, not to mention I have a growing pile of cutoffs 18-26” in length. When I saw the “Portland cowboy” guitar in Shane’s book, which is 18” scale length, I knew I was onto something? Basically I went with the short scale to accommodate the lengths of wood I had on hand. I plan to stain the top/neck & gift it out. Thanx guys :D

Also simple to fly with, short-scale takes up very little space... -Glenn

Nice! Where to start? Mostly build diddleys in this season cuz lack of time, ease of building regardless of a fresh design I may come up with, 1 string (always have lying around), challenge to play w. heart/theSongNotMerePerformance sans extra strings. Simple therapy, fun, give 'em away often. Yup! -Glenn

These days I don’t have much time for building, so I get in where I can uncle

5 minutes!   You need to prolong the fun!  That all looks proportionate and good.  Short scales are harder to sound good on for me.  Takes more precision.   But they are comfy and comfy is good.
