yup  buckles work  great ,

and don't  discount the rest of the belt  for a slider  .

Hope you dont mind if I use the buckle stringholder in one of mine some day. They add so much personality to the whole thing.

Thank you. For a newbee these kind words from all the wonderful crafters out there fuel me on and give me inspiration. I will continue using the buckles on all my builds as they seem to work well and add a distinctive touch. I just finished making an electric stomp box and have started on a resonator guitar. I guess it truly is an obsession making these instruments.

I like the buckle too. And the coffee stir stick as height adjustable bridge.

Thanks.I find that buckles work as a perfect hinge and you can get some very interesting ones at thrift stores.
