hey guys
the photos and songs are just the latest ones that people post to their page. as members add new photos and songs to their individual pages they appear on the main page until they are replaced by newer additions.

shane could fix it so nothing got updated to the main page but that would kind of suck. i don't think it's fair to tell people what to put on their own page (within reason of course) so we'll probably have to bear with the occasional barrage of photos that some may not find interesting ( i kinda dug the airshow shots )

Here's what I wish... If you post to your album or on your photos (as we all do), there should be a way to publish it to the PHOTOS section or not. Now, this isn't Shane's responsibility or prolly can't control this, but would sure be nice. Maybe a suggestion to the Ning developers.

This way, I can make public there what I want and still upload pics of Jessica Alba... er, my family.

I think this issue needs clarifying so we dont scare guys off posting general interest stuff.
Ottie et all, I too enjoy other pics, pics of other instruments, gigs, the airshow pics etc... these are all good! Most people post in moderation, and its interesting.
The guy today posted 29 pictures of himself - its a different thing!

Im guilty, I ve posted non cbg pics. a couple of my old guits. but I did it because i respect the opinion of the people here. I have questions and value the feedback I get. Agreed, I can live without the twelveteen 8x10 glossy photos of a blues kid in a poppy field. Man! I thought Spencer had an ego! But i also thought that Farrah's pic was a nice homage.

I am on side too, but I cant find any of the pictures that I have posted? I have clicked on the photos on "My Page" and it tell me that I have not uploaded any, but when I go to the discussions where I have used the photos, they are all there?

I have uploaded quite a lot.

Are photos that actually add in your reply, treated differently from those you add with URLs/file name?
