Comment by Lappy on June 20, 2021 at 12:01pm: I marked 1.5 inches high all around the can with a fine tipped sharpie. I used a dremel with a cut off wheel to cut the can. It can be done with a fine tooth hacksaw but you have to support the can on the inside. Clamp a 2 x 4 off the bench and hang the can on it. Then use light cuts.
