Another Song By 'UJ', that I was previously unaware of, just done the Utube thing, and watched and listened to 4 or 5 versions, by different artists, my fave was Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, and now your fine performance is on an equal footing to those 2 Legends.  :-)

And it's a good thing you can't be convicted and sentenced to death for murdering a song, otherwise I could probably have been hung many times over  ;-D

Thanks for the kind words, Scotty and Tee.  Gees, I think I know four murder songs.  What does that say about me.   This one, Delia, The Long Black Veil, and Tom Dooley.  Oh, Crow Jane makes it five.

Nice job John, not so much a sad song but a song about an armed robber getting exactly what he deserved. The sad thing is Betty had to fall for him..... at least until he died ;)

Andries, ah, now I see and remember what you meant about the just in time save with the tin sandwich.  Another good thing about open tunings, you can sometimes get away with something like that!
