Hi, many guitarists have done so over the decades, my first memory is Elizabeth Cotton (Freight Train) way back in the day. But three stringers I don't know.

Yep, two others that buck the rules are Jeff Healey (guitar flat on lap, but not sliding) and Dave Hole (slides from over the top of the fingerboard. Oh, don't forget the guys who can play with their toes and Django Reinhardt jazz guitarist using only two fingers.

Theres more I bet. Where there's a will, and a need, who needs rules.

This guy due to some physical restrictions had to adjust his technique.

his major advantage over you is that he has played and practised for many years.. nobody can pick up a guitar and play like that in 3 months or even 3 years..lol 

practise and playing is the only way to get comfortable on the fretboard wether slide or fretted. Time, it takes Time. so dont get disheartened.. play for the fun of it .

Oh I'm gonna try to play. I'm looking at Shane Speal's and Justin Johnson's vids. Very interested in one finger (barre) playing
