This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?

I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.

A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

Have you tried the Hodge Podge Glue?

Paul, Lock'tite outdoor didn't hold. Was a bite to sand off the guitar. I have Mod Podge. But honestly don't think it will work on this plastic. I also have Barge. But don't think I can finish over the top of it. Know that will hold. Its used to hold shoes together. I'd have to paint the body of the guitar with it first. As well as the back of the punchi. Afraid the glue exposed in the holes will cause the finish to flake off.

Ya MadGomer. I really do need to make a few more guitars. Be a lot more fun just grabbing one instead of restringing to get the tunings I play with. Need a three stringer for the low E, B, and high E strings. I tune them to E B E. ( whoda thought :) ) Get some really cool songs with them. I need a four stringer I can tune to standard. That way I can solo when playing with other players. I've had the parts. Just not the time to put things together.

On those mylar type materials there is usually one side that is transparent and one side that is aluminized. you might get different results depending on the side you apply the glue on. You migth also want to check out Make Magazine's adhesive chart for some help.

I've attached the image in case they pull it.

I hear you. My playing skills are weak (understatement) but I'd like to get a four string built up and try out that CGCdsharp tuning Neanderpaul talks about in his old YouTube video. Probably won't turn me into a guitar hero but it looks fun.

MadGomer. Just keep going at it. Keep trying different things. Never settle.  Remember your right hand or picking hand is the most important. The more you learn the more fun you'll have. There are so many different tunings for a three string. Each one has a different flare to it. I would need four CBgs just for the different three string tunings i like to play with. 158.159.148 and 149.

Francois. Took a look at the chart. Nice. My biggest concern would be using a water base poly finish over the top. I could use Barge ( a contact glue ) to hold this stuff down, But have no clue what it do with the finish a few months from now.

Painted dots it is. I've already got this body painted a blue color. So I'll have a blue radio. :)

Guess who got painted pink again. :). Gong to have my old pink radio guitar no matter what. Also got the other body gluing up. Still don't know what I'm going to do with it. So it'll be a bit before I get it done.

A man who knows what he wants!!  :D

I'm a fighter and I keep at it till it's either dead in the water or I get what I want. : ) Usually it's dead in the water. But enjoy the journey anyway.

Going to tape off and spray a large area white. Then the black stripe. Then a light blue for under the silver. Make the silver pop better. Like using a light brown or tan under red. Without the brown undercoat red looks flat.

Can't wait to see it - keep the pix coming!

Not much on the progress. Want to wait a bit between steps. Make sure the paint is dry. Radio Active looks more like modern art strawberry ice cream. It will be a two pickup guitar. The one next to it will get one. I'll get the cutouts done, holes drilled and pickup ring done tonight. Be using both Tele necks I got from CB Gitty.

The only real drawback using plywood is the chance for splinters. Especially when sanding down the edges. I caught one today beg enough to glue back. The body on the right lets you see how both are put together. I use half or three quarter ply on the bottom for weight. Balances the weight of the six string necks I use. The three quarter ply on the top is to give me meat to take off for curves. I use half inch ply on the bottom for the same reason. Because I can find myself playing for hours comfort is king.

Glue up on second body. Haven't started on the second neck yet. Going to do a fret leveling, beveling and all.

Underneath all that clampage is my first one pickup guitar.

Can't wait to see this one finished Cause.
