I have an Epiphone guitar that I used to make sure it worked. Sounds good for a practice amp. I will be building a cbg in the near future. Got to find another cigar box for it. The one I had for it is not going to work like I thought it would, but should have it by this weekend to get started on it.

Thanks, yeah I plan on posting once it's built. I kind of have it planned out in my head what I want to do, but we'll just have to see how it goes. Been reading and watching a lot of videos. So we'll see.

Nice job on the amp! One the CBG.

Been there, done that! Watch out for information overload, it will make your head explode! Remember 'K.I.S.S.' (keep it simple stupid) take your time and do it right. It helps to draw it out full scale of what you want and work out the bugs you encounter. My 2cents.

Yeah, I'm taking my time. I have pretty much been going by Shane's book. I've found something that I will probably do a little differently next time, but for this one I wanted to do it mostly with just hand tools. Just for the experience.

Nice looking amp.  I recently built my first amp using a 2.5 watt Artec.  I tried to build the amp circuit myself but I just don't know enough about that type of circuitry.
