That mountain tenor looks great!  What's the scale length on that?  Keep the photos coming on the washboard.  I have one to build, but it's pretty ragged and will need a lot of TLC.

I also have one in rough shape, it has a rather large dent in it! The wife didn't think it was funny when I gave it to her after she said she wanted a new washer

Will, is that dent in the shape of your forehead perchance?  Gotta be more careful man, the ladies don't have much sense of humor when it comes to laundry!  Don't ask me how I know this.

Good looking build on the Tenor. Haven't tried a washboard yet.

Hi Paul, I remember building a washboard from scratch. I started with a flat sheet of galvanise steel, and folded it up and down in a pan break folder to create the ripples. You head to start out with a longer piece as it gets shorter as you put the ripples in.

That was over fourty years ago. I neaded a washboard for a jug band we had formed called The Ultra Blue Jellybean Jug Band, I haven't got it anymore but I'm looking at the jug we used, as I write.

The electric washboard is progressing. I still have some work to do on it but I think its gonna be a cool instrument when its complete.
