Thanks Poorness. The Springtime rains make the calf skin head sag. I need a fire or Sunshine to tighten the head. I like the banjo for garden pickin. No amp or case needed. Just grab and go.

Yay!, Dave's back performing Solo, a thoroughly enjoyable performance, loved every moment of it, and no!, it couldn't have been me who helped with the words, as my songwriting and lyrical skills, amount to "Exactly Zero"  :-D

Thank you Uncle. Thank you Andries. That’s the way songs come to me. I hear the words spoken by the banjo or guitar.  I liked the words you heard in my play Uncle. We do good off each other’s thoughts. You pick up on everything Andries. You are very sensitive and perceptive. “We all need a little mercy now”.

Yep when our hearth is  filled whit the passion of  all this building and Playing ,everyday live & other work stays on the back burner, and it all bites you in the ass ,life is like that, and ofcourse its all a great banquet of foods & hearthfilled joy's but still there is the everyday drag and cleanup and go to the crapper as well ,so dont Burn to many Dave ! cose you got to walk some to get across ! Keep well and take Care !! fine Collab !

Love the look and tone of that banjo in your hands.  Pretty, pretty song.  I think I heard the phrase 'Lay my burden down' in one of your previous instrumental songs- and mentioned it.  This song is ALL yours and it is beautiful.  Love the fiddle coming in there too.  Both mournful and peacefully joyful at the same time.

Forgive me if I can’t remember who helped me write this song. I know it was Uncle John, but not sure it was Ambrose. Could have been Denbo, Daniel, Matthew, Brian Q. Or AGP? Or one of you fine fellows? If you read this, refresh my memory.
