Hey, guys. Sorry about taking so long to respond. A couple of years ago, I went through a phase building small cigar box amps, and also modding old radios to be guitar amps. At some point, I came across a bunch of old radios that didnā€™t work, and I salvaged what I could, including the speaker, and just did whatever I could with ā€˜em. I know that isnā€™t much to go on, but I was learning and experimenting...and just didnā€™t take the time to detail everything like I should have. So, I know this speaker came out of a radio...but I havenā€™t figure out yet what kind. Itā€™s obviously small, since it fits in the cigar box... and I do see the word FOSTER on it. Iā€™d really like to get more of these if I can find out where it originated from. I made several amps...but this one just really stood out as something special.

Deacy is an amp made by the bass player from queen for Brian May? It features the amp circuit from a portable radio minus the radio tuner section, a circuit comprised of general purpose & audio germanium transistors? It also used AC power rather than a battery amp? Pretty rare?
