Me neither Derek. I tried it in “Ice Out”, my newest video. I suck at it. I should ice my hands in the lake and try some more. I’m going to build a fretless gut string banjo to give it a bloody go. Monkey see, monkey try.

I have to try the gut string fretless banjo Daniel. That mellow plunk is a favorite of mine but i’ve Never gone there yet.

good energy !, enhanced by the sun's energy. good job filming, loved the cane dancer. claw hammer? cool. nice laid back sound of the banjo, rather than "high strung". give them an A, A+ if it was a CBF.

I didn’t mind the belly interrupt us Andries. It’s common to all street videos like Tuba Skinny, etc. I just wish I got more footage but I had distractions from the sale.

I thought you might like it Jim. Tom is such a good player. He teaches at Harbor City School. It’s an “alternative” school for kids that don’t fit ordinary schools. He teaches music. I love his clawhammer style. I found out his lady’s name today. It’s Brandy Foresman. She plays great fiddle.
