Thanks Andries, good to hear you like it! It's not autobiographical, fortunately, so all is well here. I made it an upbeat boy-loses-girl tune for something different. Sort of like you have to laugh or you will cry. I have a little V shape to the neck and 1.75" wide nut and like it for strumming and fingerpicking. Thanks much for the like and encouraging comments!

Thank you, Jim! This was a 2-parter where the 1st lines came a few weeks ago then the other ones came while I was working on something else. This is one of my 6's that I have kept for myself.

Thank you, John. I used to get a lot more of those types of dreams too, but now once I start to fall I wake up startled! I had the first couple lines for a few weeks and finally the rest of the song showed up.

Did not exspect a love song! whit that titel ,its a somber message ,and you bring it so jolly!  hope for you she is still there in real live otherwise a bommer! Derek ! that sixer still sounds full and warm , your chord changes are verry nicely punktuated ! great tune from the merry troubadour!

Yes, pretty much as Dennis said.  What a good and visual story.

You remind me of dreams I had when I was young.  I used to dream sometimes that I could fly.  Great dreams, but I don't get them anymore.
