The easiest way would be to buy an amp module, try the LM386, link below, no soldering required. The transformer in the enclosure can be removed.

HELP! I have been able to scrounge some tannoy speakers that were being thrown out at work. 3 x9” speakers and 3 x7” speakers in wood boxes. They look great and should make nice cbg amps, but when it comes to building amps I am a complete newbie. I have downloaded some photos which I hope will give some of you experts out there an idea of what I need to do to convert them into something great . So please have a look and simple advice in plain English would be much appreciated. Lol.

Had the pleasure of being the opening act for Bob Log III on Saturday evening. He was also at the One Man Band fest. While not a CBG player, he is still absolutely barking bat**** mental, and has one fantastic playing style. For a hugely entertaining evening, I can't recommend catching him enough.

Well,the small box ended up being a uke.

Not that easy to play with my fat arthritic fingers,but it's too good to turn for slide.

Dave Dean, I recently got an echo. Alexa won't find "bemuzic" Once when I asked her she played BB KIng, lol! I can only get her to find it if I ask by album names...

I just asked Alexa to “play the album Chickenbone John” and it worked perfectly (I have Amazon Prime Music).

Sounds great John! Enjoy the royalties from me sticking it on repeat!

As well as releasing my "Chickenbone John" CD, I've now gone digital, so you can download and listen  online via the steam-powered Interweb (I still haven't worked out where to put in the coal)..check out iTunes, Spotify, Deezer Amazon and a host of other online stuff that I don't really understand...
