This is one of my early additions to my musical instrument string collection. I made it with a root end piece of bamboo that I grew. I had it for flute making. This didley bow now belongs to Paris James, a local blues legend.

bonjour everybody !! me it's j-v from a tiny village in  Corrèze , France , blacksmith on my spare time lol got more and more sparetime , starting to be a second job , always like the sound of cbg , the creative side of it and the fact that's you can play almost everything with it , i'm 53years old , if i don't give it a go now ... see you on the forum ..

Welcome to the addiction Bill. Questions aren't a nuisance, they are a part of what we all do here. There's a lot of instruction from building to playing on this site. I think you'll like it here.

BRAND New to this whole cigar-box guitar, 1,2,3,4 string(s) guitar.

Been fascinated by these instruments for several years but just haven't had the time to give it a try.  That's fixing to change.  In fact, just bought 4 boxes today from the local Goodwill to experiment on.  If I'm pestering ya'll too much with questions, just let me know.

I'm stoked!

OH, and I don't play--yet.!
