Hello Don ! Got a video out there, so you can hear ,and more pictures in the vid to see, the bridge is wide for a reason, the Body consist out of two cans, a small panter cigar box can ,and a bigger box can from Esso (put a tiget in your Tank) becouse of the hole for the small box the bridge needs to be wide to make contact whit the sides of the big box and at the same time the middel of the small box, hope this aswers your question ? Here is a photo of the Tyne near Newcastle city centre,about 5 miles from where I live.The pic looks west from the north bank of the river,on the left is the Baltic arts centre and beyond that the Sage,a great music venue.The first bridge is the Gateshead Millennium bridge,it tilts to allow shipping under,the other arch is the Tyne bridge completed in 1928.
