This could be git related or not. So, what's on your workbench at the moment?

I have 4 scarf joint necks in different stages of work.

A 25" scale pine 5 string neck for a Banjo-Res, A 25" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Strat-Res build, A 24 & 1/2" scale Red Oak neck for my 6 string Double Cut Tele build and a 27" scale 6 string Baritone Conversion neck for a Modern Strat body I have.

That looks great!  How does it sound? Where did you get all the metal pieces?

Thanks Kigar,sounds good,plugged and unplugged.

If you look for LYWS Dobro guitar parts set on Amazon you'll find the parts I used. The first cone they sent was damaged but they quickly sent a replacement.Great value for thirty Quid.

That a beauty Michael.

Thanks Paul

Very nice looking Resonator. Did you have much difficulty bending 3.6mm ply sides?
Taff

Sorry Taff I should have said I used 2mm ply for the ribs cut with the grain running vertically from front to back to make it easy to bend.Is that cheating?

Thanks Taff. The ribs are 2mm ply with the grain running vertically to make it easier to bend.Is that cheating?

Working smart is not cheating?

Cheating??? If it works it's good! Totally AWESOME looking guitar Michael! I think I see an output jack. Piezo or internal pickup?  Ya, you have to be cautious about getting wood these days. I have a guitar that was advertised as 'solid mahogany'. Turns out to be solid mahogany mystery meat. A 50 50 mix of mahogany saw dust and some sort of binder.

Time is on my workbench right now. A bit cold in the garage. Was going to get a kerosene heater. But ran over something that flattened one of my front tires. Maybe after Christmas I'll be able to get one.

Under saddle Piezo

Yes, I would say it's only cheating if you claim the instrument is something that it's not.

Hey ratty, the workshop I have my machines in was just over 38deg C. I only have fans in that work area, but they just move hot air around.

Taff

Ya, that's a bit hot Taffy. I'm on the other end of the spectrum. Right now my workshop is at 4 c. Or 40 fahrenheit.  I'm not a big fan of wearing bulky clothing wile running power tools.
