Hey Bones. Thanks. Yup the tree wrap is to keep rabbits and mice from eating the bark gurdeling the tree. Deer will eat the branches above the wrap. I’ve had serious damage every winter even though the trees are inside fences and wrapped. The deer can jump a 6 ft. Fence easy. The rabbits go on top of the snow and eat the branches above the 5 ft. Of snow around the trees. Mice attack from below at the base of the trunk. It’s very hard to protect the trees when you don’t live there through the Winter. But i’m Smarter than I was. I got a great harvest this year. Nice to hear your trees are blooming. Happy Springtime!

Thanks for the cat pic Nancy. Most of our leaves have fallen. Bare branches. Spookables and Bumpities haunt the woods.

Thanks Wes. Sounds tummie. I love Kraut and riblets!, in New Ulm they put kraut on hamburgers. It’s an Octoberfest treat!

Nice pickin Dave is the wrapping there to protect the trunk from the on coming winter , I do something similar with my smaller younger apples using hay and a strong cling film rap . My fruit trees are in flower now setting up for another great year of fruit .

Hey Bird Beetle. Sweet Red is howling for me. Your last video made her wag her Tail.

thanks Danny, i’m A meat and potatos kind a guy. And we grew lots of taters. But I don’t have a couch (I do but it’s covered in guits and cigar boxes). Dinner’s at 1:30 most days. You are welcome anytime.

Sounds delicious Uncle John. Yes on Califest, And i’ll Bring all my Dogs to sample. Today my stomping rang out due to the thin plywood sauna floor. Like a stomp box. The Dog was a little flat from pitch so I just played the second track with the same Dog. I tuned it to itself cause I left my Snark at home. As far as Fall food, the onions and potato’s work great on the sauna stove. I cooked the chuck steak in the potato gravy once the taters were soft. The apples cook until they pop into apple sauce. I cook them in water which turns to cider once the apples pop. Yummy!
