I’m working on a similar amp project.  May include a preamp and using two lantern batteries instead of a 9-volt battery. A headphone plugin is also another option...  what kind of speaker are you using?

great for playing at the park!

It’s the 3 inch that came with the Gitty 2.5w amp kit. My next amp will likely be a 10 tuber.

Thanks. I’m legally blind, and use a guide dog. So I either walk or use public transit. I asked myself, if I hang my guitar across my back, how I could get the rest of the stuff minimized to one hand carry so I could walk to the park with my dog. Rather than yet another gear bag, of which I’ve got several, make the amp the “kit box”
