That is one fine guitar Andries. I love the box art. Love the reso cover. A phaux reso right? I have a couple of Fauxs. They sound great without a cone.

No, not too hot. Just right but the bag wall over time starts slumping toward the flame path. The old bag wall was leaning in causing a pinch in the flame. The pinch causes too much turbulence in part of the kiln causing boiling Shino glaze. The boil cools as craters in the glaze and roughness for a slide. Me and Pete replaced the wall with new bricks. This is the first firing with the fix. We’ll see. :*)

Andries, I would definitely trust strings made in Mexico than made in China,Mexico is a next door neighbor to California, so better quality control

Hi Andries, thanks for your comments. Your horsehead git looks great! Your way using cigarette tin under bridge is intresting, I might try it too, so to find some use for small tins...

Hi Andries. Thanks for the Yellow mellow fellow. I’m liking it for sure. Glad you don’t mind my mod stripes. I’m lost without them. Thanks for the interior view. 3 peizos! They Rock! They each look different. I’ll be playing Yellow a lot. :*) ... thanks giving... Dave

Thanks so much  for the kind words,ny brother.I think it's beautiful that we can play together  with different syles.I've always loved your stuff and your approach to it.You have always been a great source of inspiration ,both as a musician and listener.I'm luckier than most to be fairly prolific,so I have more music just sittin around as most.I'm glad that we can put our music together to be shared, because if it is,'nt shared then its just camping out in a folder somewhere.that seems like a  waste.I appreciate yer energy and I'm sure this won't be the last of our collabs...Love peace and chicken grease

Yup Andries. I’ll try another burst in yellow Red and Black Rustolium. I think it will look sharp. The paint didn’t cover up the wood grain on the first one. This kit body’s got beautiful grain.

Hi Andries, Pears! Wow, what a crop! Delicious!

I hope you didn’t take offense from my glib comments when you were shouting your protest and concern for our poor old planet. I feel your pain and anger for our headlong rush to the end. You can tell from my musical style i’m Not fond of heavy metal. It’s my hearing loss and resultant tinnitus that makes it so. Shooting pistols for fun  and heavy Tommy and The Who concerts back in the early 70’s that set my direction towards mellow music. Loud just doesn’t work for me. I had my volume turned down to 3 on your video. I just couldn’t take the heat.

keep on making those amazing musical treats. You are our Dutch Master Andries. Pease friend and love. .. Dave

Good points A. D! Some may have the problem I have. I have a very small place, and the only place I can play music is on my patio, which is roughly 6X7 or so. I have a problem getting the camera back far enough to include a whole body shot. Either go with head shot and miss a little of the guitar play, or headless. Now you can get creative if you have a window or mirror and record the reflection, but that’s sorta a side view. The other problem using iMovie on a iPad is it automatically chops off about 10% off the top and the bottom. So basically with an iPad anyway, you need at least 9 or 10 feet for a proper CBN shot ha! So yeah, if you got it and have the ability to add effects and diversions, you go for it! Why not go to another site and record! I don’t have any amplifiers, I have to plug in. The only guitar right now that picks up acoustic enough is my 6 string Ovation, a CBN taboo!

Some glitch on my computer here at work, wouldn't let me like your video.  Great playing on your BCB acoustic!
