Thank you Erasmo! Cars and vehicles have really changed, but seems driving patterns have not so much. I saw some crazy drivers in those videos. Flying emergency vehicles probably not far away, besides helicopters of course. Amazon  ambulance service and fire services ha!

Agreed Uncle,  nostalgia maybe , but those 1950’s cars were real nice, especially when I turned 16! First car was a 1957 Chevy. Smokin loud( burned oil and holes is the exhaust), fun car, not a chick magnet though! You were one of the in crowd, a Corvair! Rear side engine.....whatever happened......oh yeah!  I owned a Renault, a crappy little French car when I was seventeen, something about the front wheel axel just coming off where I left the damn thing!  Thanks Uncle, I laughed out loud about your rural Iowa comment!

Yeah, I spent a third of my life on freeways around Sacramento, San Jose, and Oakland just commuting to jobs! Diglydog, bigger heavier cars made out of steel, but they had room to freely move around. Thanks for the comments!

I was born in the early 1960's, but there's a part of me that wishes we could beam America back to the 1950's. Young folks have no clue how nice this country was back then. Good job, Richard. Sounds very early 1960-ish!

That was fun.    Really good play and on the fly composition.  I like some of those early 50s cars the best, but even then the traffic was getting heavy.  Hey a Corvair.  I had one of those.

Some of those things after 6 minutes have not reached rural Iowa.

Sounds great Richard.

Some nice old footage from the days when traffic actually moved freely in cities :-)

I liked the 30’s traffic the best. But the fire engine is pretty cool.
