Hi everyone,

I have three devices that each require a 9volt.  Amp, Donner Delay Pedal, Donner lopper.

I experimented with chaining all three to one lithium 9volt battery.

To my surprise it worked.

I do not know how long it will last, or it doing this will damage the electronics.

What I really would like to do is buy a large rechargeable battery to power everything, which could be added to the inside of the AMP.  But all I can find is 6volt and 12 volt.

I want to relay free of needing access to an electrical outlet.

Curious if anyone any ideas.

Separate batteries would be best, you’ll drain one battery a lot quicker. Really if you’re running 3 or more pedals then you’re best bet is a dedicated power supply if u want them all to sound good. A quickly draining battery will make them sound a bit different, distortion boxes sound alright but other effects like modulation & delay could be troublesome with dying batteries. They do make rechargeable pedal supplies, but they’re not cheap. Look at sweetwater or musicians friend, I’m not sure of battery life? but it seems like it would last longer than conventional batteries?

check the RC car store/sites, there are a lot of toys that run on 9.6v which ought to be close enough, and you can get a recharger that matches...

I have this Boxking rechargeable power supply. It's really compact and has 8 x 9v, 1 x 12V and 1x 18/24v outputs. I have it powering Vox Stomplab, Mooer Blues Mood, Electro Harmonix Pitch Fork,Boss RC-3 Loop Station and my Roland Mobile Cube amp. Works a treat. Not cheap, but most of the cheaper ones are not rechargeable. It is really small and compact with metal casing too.
