where do you usually mount yours? and is it on a solid body or hollow body?

sorry for the continued questions, I've done more hollow body stuff than solid body stuff and just trying to make sure I get the right thing for solid body as piezo discs don't seem to work too well, at least not for a guitar, might work better on a bass since it just needs the deep vibrations anyway.
