Tennessee Waltz on Biscuit Tin Strummer

For some reason this old song popped into my head while tuning this instrument. The mind is a terrible thing!

Great old song and a lovely looking Tin Build Jim, have built and still possess quite a few Tin Builds but don't think I have one with Diatonic Fretting, will now have to either build one!, or convert one!   :-)

Thanks Unc. Yup, the melody gets up there just out of my range. I'm a bit hoarse today but even on a good day it's a reach. These strummers are fun and I can usually make 2 or 3 a day which is What I'm working with Christmas themed tins to be ready for the Holiday shoppers.

Thanks Milt. Yeah, I usually use the tins for diatonic fretted strummers but I like the sound of them so I'm working on a fully fretted one with maybe a piezo.

What a purty git!.    Nicely played.  Makes me feel like a strummer git.  I gave mine away.  Nice ringing tone from that can.  Pretty nice singing too.  A tough song to sing, at least for me.

I play this song on harp at the nursing homes.  Wish I could have joined you.

Well done Jim. Those tin box guitars sure have a sound of their own.
