OK

I am sick of hearing about the Pennsylvania CBG Fest or the Missouri CBG Fest...

How about one in Colorado?  I am in Littleton and might be able to get a venue.

I think starting small would be good.  Maybe a stage with an Open Mic.

How does Father's Day weekend sound?

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks,
Alan

I am interested in participating in such an event.  I am not skilled in playing, and I have only built one CBG, but I love the music and culture of the CBG and other handmade/homestyle instruments.

PS - maybe we can get a few interested parties to meet for brainstorming at the Denver Maker Faire?

Thanks for responding.

Not sure what this will all look like but it would be fun to meet and hang out.

I am not familiar with the Denver Maker Faire.

Are you headed to the Denver Maker's Faire?  I may be playing.  ;)

I have no interest or aptitude for organizing, but if you build it, I will come!

Rats!  I was going to nominate you as Big Kahuna!

We shall see what becomes of this crazy idea!

Count me in - sounds like a blast!  Start small, and it will grow organically.  Several possible locations; the Buffalo Rose in Golden immediately springs to mind.

Since there is some interest, I will see what I can come up with.

Stay tuned...  ;)

My friends have a jug band that is all gals. I will see if they have that week end open and could come. They are all nurses or professional people so I don't know for sure. I will ask them!

I would come as well. This is a super cool idea

Oh, yes, please!  That sounds like a lot of fun!

Im a CBG guy on the Western Slope.

Been away for a few years, but Im back.

Its a 5 hour drive over the pass to the Brown Cloud City. Its an overnighter fer sure!

All my products have been sold but for the ukelele I gave to Pops.

Guess Ill have to get the garage set up and make some dust happen.

Sawdust is man glitter.

I am interested, I am up north but we do need to spred the cbg bug out west!

Imagine my surprise to be watching last week’s Gitty gang show and find out that there is a Colorado CBG group. Imagine my further surprise when I find out that the instigator for a Colorado event is in Littleton. I am just across the border in Centennial. I have yet to build or play, but would be very much interested in a local event. Do you think there is any possibility to tie in with or get help from Swallow Hill?
