St. Louis MO. CBG Club/Workshop

We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area). This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Today we will vote on the five artist who have submitted their T-shirt logo entries for a chance to win fun stuff!

Members of the club will be given one red ticket which they drop in the container front of their favorite logo, artist with the most tickets in the end wins.

Winner and prizes will be announced this evening!

Winner winner chicken dinner! Anonymous entry won and because anonymous declined the winnings, we held a raffle for prizes and Mike Orr pictured below pulled the win with a grin!

Mike won the unfinished neck, string pack, gold mini buck, plus a $50. 61 roadhouse gift card.

Soon as the T-shirts are in, we will be sending Anonymous the first printing as a thank you!

You guys should get in on these Christmas videos or MP3 download albums each year. They are a great way to have fun! Can't wait till next year!

We are planning an off site field trip to Treasure Aisles Antique Mall in Maplewood. The club will pick up the tab for a lunch with a beverage. Bring your haggling skills in case you find that something you just got to have. Here is just a few store fronts. We will meet up at the mall 2317 S. Big Bend Blvd Maplewood MO 63143 (10:am OCT. 6) I need a list of names by next Monday 8/27 of who staying for lunch after we shop this event so I can plan seating room .
