Hi Folks..I thought I would share the method I use to make my instruments..a simple plan...the rest is in your heads..shapes and sizes are endless...enjoy..

Nice, but where do you get chunks of wood like that?

It only has to be 300mm wide..40/50 mm thick...you can use baltic pine, or a hard wood. I use fret boards that are 10mm thick for strength on the pine..the soft woods make for a better sound..
