I am in Ashland City
I'm in Watertown. Not too far from you.  :)

That makes two of us in Watertown!!!

I am in Lebanon (and new to the group). Watertown is God's country!

I'm in Watertown, off the I-40 Exit 245 (Linwood Rd). Give me a call.  615-604-1106

Perhaps, but we are also being told that this will be the next housing boom area in Wilson County.  People are still looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and they are looking our way.

Just moved to Franklin in August.

Totally new. 61 and never played a guitar, but it is on my bucket list. Saw the CBG and thought "learning three strings has gotta be easier than six". That was about a month ago. Have a J. A. Lawrence acoustic that only had four tuners when I found it one of my kids left which I strung with three strings trying to figure out the basics of where to start. So newby, novice, beginner, absolute illiterate in this g'tar area just starts to describe me. Can an Ol' Dog learn a few new licks? Looking to learn and hopefully find some friendly neighbors along the way. I live in the Fairview area.

Ok, I just sent out probably a kazillion friend request to CBN members in the Nashville, Dickson, Williamson County area. I know you are out there!

Nashville is "Music CIty" yet who are the quitest and most antisocial people on CBN? Won't say, silence speaks louder tan words.

Nashville has never had a CBG Jamberee, and has no plans for one, though it has at least two members who own guitar or music shops, at least two professional musicians, and at least one songwriter. It also has at least three nationally known CBG builders whse guitars have shipped all over the world and have made it into the hands of very famous people.

What gives? WHy the silence? Why no association, no clubs, no CBG groups even? I'm mind boggles!

Let's break the silence, get to know one another, start sharing and mingling, become a cohesive group/

Come on people, don't roll your eyes at me, I saw that. Come on, I know you can do this.

I know this is an old post, but has anything progressed? I saw there is something coming up on the 19th of November in Nashville, but I am not sure where or what. John Nickle and a few others will be there. Sometimes you have to get things kick started your self though. I didn't have a lot of friends to play with here, so I started an acoustic jam and have met a ton of new people. Maybe you could start a CBG jam. It sound like you know some people, lol.

If you find the details on the 19th I'd be interested. That's a busy day for me, but might could get there later.
