Your welcome Fomhorach. I would agree that audio and filming wasnt always good but fun to watch all the same. I think theres still the judging video to come too.

It seems that the crimson guys all learned valuable lessons about CBG builds over the weekend. Sure you can build a good guitar in a day surrounded by everything you need but builds often have complications including "filming practicalities".

It looks like they all built a really nice CBG though. I picked up a few good hints watching them.

Hi guys and girls. I don't know if any of you follow ctimson custom guitars on youtube? Lots of useful videos on general luthiery and tool reviews. They sell good stuff too. Anyway this morning they have started to release a series of videos based around a cbg build off from 4 of their staff.

Hi folks,
First off, let me apologise that nothing's been said for a while, we've had my daughter in hospital so obviously that's had to take precedence.
The Market Drayton Cigar Box & Roots Festival is set for 13-14 August. I know the date's not ideal, only being a week after Cambridge, but the final date was taken out of my hands due to a combination of pub availability and the availability of a couple of acts the landlord wanted included on the bill. Hopefully next year we'll be able to get a bit of a better date.
The majority of things will be on the Saturday, (they have a christening Sunday afternoon) but there is free camping available in the side beer garden for anyone who wants it and the pub will be selling breakfasts on the Sunday morning. We've got a big stage in the garden, full PA system and everything happening on stage will be live streamed to the TVs in the pub and online so it can be watched anywhere in the world.
If anyone wants to play or set up a stall place/workshop please let me know.
Naturally everyone is welcome but I don't want to steal the thunder of other events such as Cambridge, so I'd just like to say, if you can't make Cambridge for whatever reason, or you fancy an extra weekend of cigar box, roots & blues music and a lot of fun, please come along!!

Another of my occasional hard sell postings. We've just got back form a week's trading at Glastonbury and are getting moving again now that are are recovered. We've got loads of new string sets, for 3, 4 and 6 string, different tunings, but all USA made d'Addario top quality stuff...new specially selected "balanced tension" sets too.
