Hey all,  finally got some time to put into My lone ranger Lunchbox git.  this one was a lot of challenges but oh so worth it.  Now if I can just find a buyer that loves it as much as I do.  I want to thank you all for the troubleshooting help with the misdrilled headstock, you guys saved this one.  Instead of donating this git I am building another true box guitar to give to one of the victims of the wildfires here.  They lost everything including his guitar so I'll give him a CBG and see if that renews his interest.  Again folks thank you for the input on this it is one of my best this far.

Have a look

Ok Finally got moved and put the LR gitty up on ebay, (well goes up tomorrow) we'll see if I can just find 2 people that have to have it!

I will as soon as it goes live tomorrow at 6:00

ok here is the ebay Link. I am not trying to use the site for my own marketing.  This is my first truly public sale after building several I am final comfortable with someone paying me money for my product.  This has been a fun and interesting journey and I sure do thank all of you for the help and encouragement to keep pluggin and solving problems.

I am really crazy about your build. I like the spalling in the neck and the pistol headstock. The headstock ain't PC,you may be arrested if you drive through a school zone. (;-D)

Nice touches on the bridge and headstock!

Thanks for the kind compliments.  it was a true labor of love.  The Lone ranger was my childhood hero.

Here is the one I am doing for the burnout family... lol.. just reread that.. the family that was burned out of their home.. they aren't "burnouts"..lol

I made the box, first time f-holes, maple neck, red oak fretboard with walnut markers and stripe in the headstock.  turned out nice for a rattle can.  primer, color, and clear.  Not much sanding, just before the last coat of color.

Nice work kemosabe!

The Lone Ranger is pretty sweet, nice woods but the 12th and the head stock really make it shine. Honestly they make the fancy wood the least impressive part ;)  (Which is ironic because that's what makes people drool over the highest end bass guitars)

Looking forward to seeing the Cherry Bomb Strung!

NOW THAT'S A HEADSTOCK!!!!

What a cool set up, love the fret markers. One question; does the handle cause any problems with the sound, such as rattles? Good one ~ Al

GOOD Question!  Yes indeed the handle does rattle while playing.  I was going to leave the decision to the person who buys it if they want it epoxied down. (Or up for that matter) but if it's going to be a wall hanger then they may want the handle loose.

Now that is one rootin' tootin' git!!
Very nice details and the head is awesome!!!
Super work, thanks for sharing.
