When I started building CBG's I hardly ever saw anybody that had seen them before. 2 years later I run into more and more people that have seen em before. Florida is getting more involved in the CBG revolution!!!!!. I wanted to know how many members we have here at CBN are neighbors of mine? I live in central Florida and wondering how many other builders/players are local or in the same state. I know your out htere just not sure how to find you.

Hey LJ I'm up the road in Land O Lakes... not much of a player but I do like building them and of course I have a camera.. - Jim

I'm 7mi n of 52

I'm not from Florida but I'm going to be in Orland next week on Vacation. My first trip south and I can't wait, so all you guys from Flordia, do a sunshine dance for me, I've had it up to here with snow.
Watch out brother Orlando can flatten your wallet. Our winters are usually really nice bro. Its been in the low 70s the last 2 days.

Are they sold as fast as you build them or do you have one hell of a collection?Im sure I cant afford one, but promise I wouldnt even think of marking one.Ill send u my cell #.

There is some nice instructional videos on the front page. What do u usually build? I was thinking about doing a video or two on real basic tuning and playing. Real slow for the beginner.I have also heard from others that Kenny Lee Burgess,Instructional video cd is helpful. You outta ask him if its set up for beginners.

I'm in Ocoee just on the western outskirts and on the western fringe of orange county a few miles east of Clermont

Love building these things but can't hardly play at all

Built some for ungrateful kin in trade for lessons but made the mistake of giving them before I got the lessons
Hey guys not to horn in on your conversation but I give Keni's first instructional CD with the first CBG that I sell to someone. Keni has a great style that will get you up and running in short order. The trick is to just do what the man says.... Stop noodling and start playing (lol)...
Take care - Jim

Hey Buddy I usually have a few around and don't believe the hype... I do strive for that traditional look but they are well within the reach of you guys. Part of what helps the cause is the mix of machines and hand tools.... I am on the road a lot but I would like to get together sometime....I'll call you sometime this week. Take care - Jim

I have seen some of Keni's instructional stuff on Youtube and Shane has a good tutorial here
My problem is that i am one of those people Shane talks about when his says to stop building and start playing
I enjoy the building so much more

I also have noticed that most of these tutorials now days have to be played on the computer, the one place where I have no desire at all to build or play
If you saw my comp set up you would understand

I have recently discovered the joy of fretted Diddly Bows though

central FL here, little tiny town called Lake Wales, same with Crow. what about you? where in central FL?
Build all you want brother. Do what makes you happy. Shanes right when he says play them and they will sell.Thats how I sell mine. They like them when they see them. But when you start playing thier eyes light right up. But if u dont care about playing much. then play only as much as you care too. HAAA.
