Wow Ted, these diagrams and photos are a great resource. Thanks for helping us wiring idiots. This is really helping me.
Great slideshow! I think U got em' all, Lol :) btw Ted TV is also awesome!!
Cool, thanks!
Hey Ted. This one seems easy, but I'm not sure. It's a flush mount output jack for solid body guitars. this is what they say: The short terminal is positive, the mid-length terminal is the "ring" (for stereo output, or for battery switching in mono wiring), and the long arm on the side is ground.
I'm wiring the pickup directly, no volume, etc. Usually i connect positive to positive on the jack, and neg to the "ring", or the other terminal. do i also connect the neg from the pickup to ground, along with the metal bridge?
Wire the neg from pickup and bridge ground to the long arm/ground. For what you need you can just ignore the ring.
Thank you!

Hey Ted, I did manage to wire this, but had to combine two diagrams because of the active booster.
Ted, one more question. In this Build I'm Using an antique English pudding mold, made of metal. should I ground that also? It will be exposed on the outside. Thanks.
Yes, I would ground that also
hi Ted. i left a question, it must have been another site, i hope you don't mind if i ask again. i bought some old (1945/46) jeep switches with nice threaded collars, perfect for cbgs, just on/off. i'd like to use them to control 4 pickups, two electric, two piezo. can i just run grounds to all four, then the separate hots, to mix? then a common ground fom all four to the jack? will this create a ground loop, or any other problems? i really appreciate your educated feedback, thanks.
Hi Daniel, sounds like that will work great. I run all my grounds to the back of the volume pot, and then one wire to the neg lug of the jack.
