yea, ol' microphonic pup's,I remember da 1st time I used one for a mic in an old band in high school,they give out dat AM radio vibe! If Teisco pups weren't so microphonic I'd collect em' too, I come by em' all da time.

Comment by Barry Potter on February 22, 2013 at 3:02pm: No i mean the same in that they pick up vibration like even on the neck - the same way a piezo picks up knocking on the neck. At least thats the way it is with my Matador and my Tulip. Their like high intesity mics.

Comment by Barry Potter on February 22, 2013 at 2:28pm: Cool Beatle Bass Brian. Since we're just posting MIJs now... This is my favorite guitar. An MIJ 1973/74 Univox HiFlier Phase 3(Mosrite Copy). Has these 2 hot wound pickups like no other guitar I've ever heard and a trebley mid range. Clear cover on the pups. Curt Cobain model - although his was all white.
