Active Servicemember Needs a Guitar!

Builder alert! A Servicemember/Nationmember who is serving overseas is looking for an instrument play and cherish while far from home!

Who can step up? I bet you have one in your stash that would certainly get played a whole lot more if you mailed it to Afghanistan! Or you could build him something special!

( A crude estimate is that the Nation has sent more than 75 instruments overseas since this group began! We get a new request about once a week, so you have plenty of opportunities to help out in the future, too!)

Many thanks to the members of the Nation who have offered to help out! Stephen is "spoken for", but a new request will come along soon -- especially if a Servicemember has stumbled across one of these great instruments already! Word lately seems to be spreading by contagion lately -- if you see one and hear you, you get a hankering!

Check back often in the group http://www.cigarboxnation.com/group/cbgsforsoldiers and see who has requested an instrument. Offer up a build you have completed, or your services to build a custom job. Get the shipping address of your servicemember via personal message (don't want to post personal stuff here on a public forum). Pack it up and send it off!

Again, thanks for contributing to this effort! No one off fighting for their country should want for music!
